Pangya is quite a nice game. Bring in the fact that it doesn't cost you anything to play or download (except your free time and bandwidth XD) and its amazing.
It's quite obvious a large amount of work was put into Pangya, so it's not surprising for some people to wonder how such a game could be completely free.

The game, in full version, is completely free and will likely continue to be for as long as it remains in production. Ntreev's road to financial success is not based around subscribing to the game, but rather by creating exclusive items or caddies which can only be purchased via real life money.
This plan may seem fairly ludicrous to many of westerners, however, such tactics are no uncommon in more Asian countries. This approach allows Ntreev to get more players by offering a completely free game. The more players get into the game, the more they see neat items which can only be purchased with real money, and eventually, many players may consider shelling out cash for digital items.
This is actually quite a win-win situation. Not only for Ntreev, but also for us the consumer. If your not into paying for digital merchandise, then just enjoy all the free stuff or items which can be purchased with in-game money. You've got yourself a great game you haven't paid a dime for. |
